As part of the Master Plan Update, five portable classrooms and a two-story building at Otis Elementary School will be demolished to facilitate new construction. The $42 million initiative aims to enhance the campus through outdoor learning areas, upgraded playgrounds, and improved connections to existing facilities. Key improvements will include the development of outdoor learning and gathering areas, upgraded playgrounds, and improved connections to existing facilities. Additional enhancements will feature landscaping, a new shade structure, campus-wide fencing, upgraded lighting, and increased bike parking. The common quad area will be transformed into distinct planting areas inspired by natural landscapes such as the woods, hills, meadow, forest, and mesa.
