The Roman Catholic Diocese of San Jose called upon Carducci Associates to develop the spiritual heart of the Gate of Heaven Cemetery located in the rolling hills between Cupertino and Los Altos, California. To fulfill the mission of the Diocese, our team designed a Rosary Walk, Stations of the Cross, and a Prayer Labyrinth of spiraling stones that serve to facilitate prayer, meditation, and spiritual insight. Related landscaping projects included family plots, private estate mausoleums, interior mausoleum gardens, and unique features dedicated to Catholic saints at various burial sites.
